Counselling offers a reliable and consistent space, in which you can feel supported and contained, thereby creating the opportunity to talk about, process and work through whatever is troubling you. Counselling sessions are usually weekly for 50 minutes and may offer the possibility of exploring the deeper layers of the problems you are experiencing within a confidential and professional relationship.
I have worked as a counsellor at a London University, and a Women’s Health organisation and have my own private practice in North London. I have been working as a counsellor for over 8 years helping people work through difficulties with:
• Relationships,
• Difficulties at work,
• Feelings of not being able to cope,
• Post traumatic stress,
• Early childhood trauma, abuse and/or neglect
• Addictions,
• Depression,
• Anxiety,
• OCD,
• Irrational fears,
• Loss and bereavement,
• Health anxieties
• Emotional crisis and breakdown.
Thinking about counselling may trigger a number of thoughts and feelings associated with finding the right therapist for you, as well as the trepidation of beginning the counselling process.
If you would like to find out more about starting counselling, I would be happy to discuss your options with you, with no obligation.
